Industrial IoT,
built to your order
Devices and a cloud platform we designed, built and installed ourselves since 2018. Temperature loggers, energy sensors, Modbus gateways, process controllers, camera meter readers and trackers, supplied under your brand, built to your specification, or transferred to your own factory.
WHY THIS EXISTS
Most monitoring projects stall between the sensor and the decision
A factory buys a temperature controller, a timer and a meter from three suppliers. None of them talk to each other, and getting their readings into one place becomes its own project. A cold store buys loggers that assume a network the building does not have. A hotel engineering team knows a chiller tripped only when a guest complains.
We have spent almost a decade closing that gap. Our team of 60 designs the hardware, writes the firmware, builds the cloud and installs it on site. That is why the products on these pages share the same habits: they keep logging when the network drops, they speak TLS 1.2, they export audit-ready reports, and they can be configured without a laptop and a site visit.
We work with system integrators, factories, hospitals and clinics, hotels, cold storage operators, distributors and companies that want a proven device under their own brand, across the Middle East, Europe, the US and India.
WHAT EVERY PRODUCT SHARES
One way of building, across every device
Keeps the record through outages
Our loggers and sensors store readings in on-board flash when the network drops and send them once it returns. Battery variants keep recording through a power cut, so a network gap does not become a gap in your log.
Secure by default
All device communication runs over TLS 1.2, with MQTT over TLS where the product uses MQTT. HTTP over TLS is available where your system expects it.
Reports an auditor accepts
Every report carries an audit trail and exports to PDF and Excel. History stays available in the cloud, so an inspection becomes an export rather than a search through paper.
Data your AI tools can read
Device and application data can be reached through MCP, so teams can ask an AI assistant about their sites and get answers drawn from live and historical readings.
Power and enclosure to suit the site
Most devices run from a 12 V adapter. Battery variants from about 2,000 to 5,000 mAh, with USB charging where it fits. Standard plastic or metal enclosures, custom nameplates, and custom moulding when the volume justifies it.
Your cloud or ours
Every device reports into RIOD Live, our cloud platform, or into a server you own. Give us the server details and we set the platform up there for you.
FROM THE FIELD
What our deployments taught us
Taj Hotels: chillers and air conditioning
We monitored power and run status on chillers and AC units so the engineering team could see downtime as it happened and track how quickly maintenance responded, instead of learning about a failure from a guest.
Reefer trucks for a chocolate maker
Drivers were switching off refrigeration to save fuel, and the product paid for it. Sensors on each truck, our cloud and an API into the customer system made every switch-off visible with time and location.
Long cables changed our probe choice
In reefer trucks and chillers the probe cable runs a long way from the logger. Cable resistance adds to a 2-wire PT100 reading, so we standardised on 3-wire PT100 for long runs.
Never assume coverage
The most common mistake on site is assuming the network reaches the equipment. Cold rooms and plant rooms are often dead zones, which is why our devices offer BLE alongside 4G and Wi-Fi, and battery versions where cabling is hard.

Questions buyers ask us
Can we buy a single sample to test?
Every batch is built to your order. We start with prototypes against an agreed advance on your purchase order, so the units you test are configured for your application rather than a generic demo.
What is the smallest production order?
Production starts at 100 units. That batch takes about four weeks, and 1,000 units take about six weeks. Logo and labels are included at 100 units.
Which connectivity do the devices use?
4G, Wi-Fi and BLE are the standard options, chosen per site. LoRa and Zigbee can be added where a project needs them.
Are the devices certified?
We certify to the standard your market requires. Tell us the target countries and standards and we plan certification into the project, as a separate line in the quote.
Can the data go to our own server?
Yes. Devices can report to RIOD Live or to your infrastructure. Share the server details and we deploy and configure the platform there.
Tell us what you need to monitor
Share the equipment, the site and how many units you are planning. We will come back with the right device, the connectivity that suits the building and a realistic timeline.
