RNDSquare, part of RIOD, is an engineering-led R&D company building reliable, real-world connected systems across edge hardware, firmware, cloud platforms, and Vision AI, operating at the intersection of physical devices and intelligent software. Headquartered at Infopark, Kochi, Kerala, India, the company runs two dedicated development centers-HDC (Hardware Development Center) focused on electronics, embedded systems, and manufacturing-ready designs, and SDC (Software Development Center) focused on cloud platforms, connected applications, data pipelines, and AI-driven systems-working as an extended R&D partner for scalable, long-term products.
Our Journey
RNDSquare was founded by a group of engineers who recognized a persistent gap in the connected technology industry-products built in silos, with hardware, software, and AI treated separately. What was missing was true engineering ownership across the entire system. The journey began with product engineering, building connected devices from the ground up and taking responsibility for electronics, firmware, and real-world deployment challenges.
Over time, this work expanded naturally into EV systems, edge intelligence, cloud-native platforms, and Vision AI-not driven by trends, but by real customer needs at scale. Today, RNDSquare designs and builds systems that often don’t exist off the shelf, solving problems where constraints are real, environments are harsh, connectivity is unreliable, and failure is not an option.
The team has grown to 50+ engineers operating from development centers in Kerala, India. Here, engineers are not just executors but problem solvers and innovators, working hands-on across disciplines to turn complex challenges into reliable, deployable systems. This mindset has earned the trust of startups and large enterprises worldwide, who rely on RNDSquare as a long-term R&D partner.
