Industrial Modbus
connectivity
A Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP gateway that brings PLCs, drives, meters, chillers, boilers and controllers online. Master or slave, register maps set from the cloud, and data delivered securely to RIOD Live or your own platform.
THE PROBLEM
The data already exists inside the controller. Getting it out is the work
Most plant equipment already measures what you care about. The chiller controller knows its supply temperature, the VFD knows its load, the energy meter knows its kWh. The data sits in Modbus registers that nobody outside the panel can see.
Integrators usually solve this one site at a time with a laptop and a configuration file. Our gateway moves that work to the cloud: the register map is configured in the application, so a new device or a changed map does not mean another trip to site.
HOW IT WORKS
Built for integrators
RTU and TCP
Modbus RTU over RS485 and Modbus TCP over Ethernet, so serial field devices and networked controllers can share one gateway.
Master or slave
Poll devices as a master, or sit on an existing network as a slave when another system already owns the bus.
Register maps from the cloud
Integrators define registers, scaling and naming in the cloud application. The gateway picks up the configuration remotely.
Secure delivery
Data leaves the gateway over TLS 1.2 and lands in RIOD Live or your own server, ready for dashboards, rules and reports.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask us
Does it support both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP?
Yes. RTU over RS485 and TCP over Ethernet, in master or slave configuration.
Who configures the register map?
Usually the system integrator, from the cloud application. No local software install is needed to change a map.
Can the data go to our own SCADA or cloud?
Yes. The gateway reports to RIOD Live or to your server, and data can be passed on through an API.
Can we put our own brand on the gateway?
Yes. Branding starts at 100 units, and the design is also available through licensed technology transfer.
Have a panel full of Modbus devices?
Send us the device list and the registers you need. We will confirm the setup and how quickly your integrators can get it online.
