THE PROBLEM
Location alone rarely answers the question
A dot on a map tells you where a truck is. The questions that cost money are different: was the refrigeration on, did the machine work or idle, did the bus keep to its route, was the equipment moved without permission.
Our reefer work for a chocolate maker shows the point. Drivers were switching off refrigeration to save fuel. Combining temperature sensors with vehicle data and sending both to the cloud made each switch-off visible with time and location.
