Utility Provider in EU - User IoT: We partnered with a leading utility provider in the EU to integrate retail energy monitoring for electricity with a custom hardware & NBIoT Connectivity, pushing data to Azure. We designed the hardware so compact that can intgerated into their existing panels, By leveraging analytics, we enabled consumption predictions, helping consumers optimize their energy usage.
Utility Provider - EV Charger and OCPP Integration: We collaborated with a major utility provider to integrate OCPP 1.6J client and server for seamless EV charger management. Their EV Chargers are dumb without connectivity and procured from china. Our solution streamlined the connection between EV chargers and the provider’s infrastructure, enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the charging network. The integration led to a 30% improvement in charger utilization and reduced operational costs.
Street Light Management Platform and Hardware: RNDSquare developed a comprehensive Street Light Management Platform for a Street light manufacturer, incorporating advanced hardware to monitor energy consumption, predict usage patterns, and scheduling and grouping control the lights with Role based access. The system’s predictive analytics also identified potential faults, reducing downtime by 40%. We handed overed the complete design of hardware for customer to production and mainintain cloud infrastrcuture for next 10 years
EV CPO - Charger Maintenance and Service Support Application: We partnered with an EV Charge Point Operator (CPO) to create a robust maintenance and service support application for their charging network. The app enables real-time monitoring and rapid response to maintenance issues, significantly reducing downtime.
EV Charger Development for an EV OEM: RNDSquare worked with a leading EV OEM to develop cutting-edge EV chargers tailored to their vehicle lineup. Our custom-designed chargers featured AC fast charging capabilities and seamless integration with the OEM’s existing infrastructure. Their fleet charging can now charge seamleslly without the use application and with just RFID, but accuractely recording energy consumption for each vehicles
System Integrator - Gateway Development: We collaborated with a system integrator to develop a gateway that seamlessly connects SNMP, Modbus, and OPC-UA protocols to cloud platforms. This integration enabled real-time data collection and monitoring across diverse industrial systems, ensuring smooth operations and improved decision-making. One of the unique feature is the remote configuration of gateway, The modbus registers or SNMP MiB can be remotely configured
HVAC OEM - IoT Integration for Demand Response: We partnered with a leading HVAC OEM to integrate IoT capabilities into their systems, allowing for dynamic temperature control within a specified range instead of a fixed setpoint. This innovation supports demand response programs, enabling the HVAC systems to adjust based on real-time grid conditions. The integration led to a 15% reduction in energy consumption during peak periods and increased system flexibility.
Disconnect Switch Manufacturer - Digitized Control System: We collaborated with a manufacturer of disconnect switches to digitize temperature measurement, motor status, and motor control inside the control box. The project focused on ensuring reliable operation in icy conditions where motors are prone to failure. By integrating a control system within the disconnect switch panels, we enabled real-time monitoring of torque and arcing temperature, allowing the system to adjust accordingly. The solution included protocol integration with RTU, ensuring seamless communication and enhanced operational safety, especially in challenging environments.
